Carmen’s SAT course was highly beneficial! Halfway through the class, I noticed I was already making up to 150 points in gains on my practice tests. The instructors are well spoken and noticeably educated on the topics.

In seeking a tutor for my daughter, I wanted someone who would help her choose a university that would introduce her to new perspectives and challenge her academically. As a teacher, Mrs. A is extremely respectful and considerate. She made me feel relaxed knowing that my daughter was in excellent hands. As an advisor she has guided both my daughter and I on the college selection process.
As my daughter entered her junior year of high school, the anxiety of her adult life quickly approaching started to take effect. I attended a parent meeting at her high school put on by the college counselor. The checklist endlessly grew, along with the stress of meeting this daunting task. I felt the process would move more smoothly if we hired a private college counselor. I was introduced to Carmen Karshis who easily took over the task of personal college counselor. She guided my daughter through the entire process of college applications, essays and deadlines. The results with her assistance proved to be extraordinary. My daughter was accepted to each college she had applied with merit scholarships from each as well. We were so blessed to have Carmen as our college counselor.

I’ve had such a great experience while completing my college applications with Mrs. A. The many sessions I had were some of the most helpful and insightful due to the thorough instructions on what to do in order to better my applications in every way. I was very impressed with her patience with me, even during times of stressfully long applications. Mrs. A taught me step-by-step how to word my resumes, type up fantastic essays, answer questions, and even reassured me, hundreds of times, that everything would be okay. If not for her, I would have probably spent countless, useless hours trying to figure out how to write my essay or even how to answer the college’s supplementary questions! I absolutely loved the individual help I received and would recommend her to anyone who needs help getting on track with their college applications!
After attending public school, at the end of my junior year I felt like I was thrown to the wolves to figure out how to apply to college. From finding colleges that met my specific needs to keeping up with deadlines and creating checklists, Carmen put me at ease and made the college application process completely stress free and much easier. As a student without someone to fall back on at school, I could not have done it without her. Every hour spent with her weekly was so worth every minute because the amount of supplemental materials, college codes, and scholarship options are endless. Now, half way done with my senior year, I have been accepted into every college she helped me apply to with plenty of financial aid! I could not thank Carmen enough.
In my opinion, the SAT class was very helpful with the grammar and math shortcuts. Practice was a very important part and I noticed improvement in scores.
The SAT course is very helpful. We reviewed actual SAT exams and the tutors break them down. They review the small details of the test and the answers we got wrong. They also help explain why and how the answers are wrong, as well as why they are right. In the end, you start to get more answers right and see improvement. I highly recommend this course if you are looking to improve on the SAT. The class also helped me improve on my ACT.
